Saks Cloud Services is looking for Trainee, Workday Integration Engineer to join the newly formed Finance team.  The role will initially focus on application support and development allowing you to learn Workday application, business flows and processes that are critical to support the application.  Over time, your role will increase to include defining, developing and implementing changes to the existing applications with a focus on increasing business functionality, stabilizing operations and reducing ongoing issues.

What you will do

• Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability
• Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels
• Configure alerts on the system to identify issues before they cause system outages.
• Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Finance systems – Workday Integration and processes
• Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents
• Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed
• Partner with IT management and internal customers to communicate and implement necessary changes to keep the environments current, stable, and secure

• Strong oral and written communication skills
