FreshersHunt.in is a career resource platform founded in 2021 by Mahant, focused on sharing the latest IT jobs, internships, off-campus drives, and free courses for students and fresh graduates. Our website address is: https://freshershunt.in

  • Personal Information (Voluntary): Your name, email, or contact details if you submit a comment, fill a form, or contact us.
  • Non-Personal Information: Browser type, device type, IP address, and pages you visit (collected automatically for analytics).
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies to improve your experience, remember preferences, and measure site performance.

3. How We Use Information

FreshersHunt.in operates official channels on Instagram, Telegram, and LinkedIn. Joining is voluntary. Any information you share there is at your own discretion. Please avoid posting sensitive personal details in public groups.

6. Comments & User-Generated Content

When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser details to detect spam. Approved comments are visible to the public. You may request deletion of your comments by contacting us.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable measures to safeguard your data: SSL encryption (HTTPS) on all pages, limited admin access to user data, and regular monitoring for vulnerabilities. However, no method of online transmission is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

FreshersHunt.in content is intended for students and professionals aged 18+. If you are under 18, use this site with parental guidance. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Mobile App (FreshersHunt Android App)

This section covers the FreshersHunt Android app (package com.appsapien.freshershunt), in addition to the above.

  • Account information (Google Sign-In): When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, profile photo and Google account ID to identify you, show your profile, and sync your progress. We never receive your password.
  • In-app purchases: Pro subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are handled by Google Play Billing. We receive only your purchase status. We never receive or store card/payment details.
  • Progress & usage data: XP, streaks, achievements and completed items are stored and synced across your devices, linked to your email.
  • Feedback: If you send feedback in the app, we receive your message and (if available) your email so we can respond and improve the app.
  • Advertising & identifiers: The free version shows ads via Google AdMob, which may use your device’s Advertising ID, approximate (IP-based) location and device info to serve and measure ads. See policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Pro users see no ads. You can reset your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  • Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used (app opens, screens viewed, jobs applied to, features used). It collects app-interaction events, a Firebase app-instance identifier, device and approximate (IP-based) location information, to help us improve the app. It does not personally identify you. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
  • Push notifications: We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to send alerts about new jobs and walk-ins, using a device messaging token. You can turn notifications off any time in device settings.
  • On-device data: Bookmarks, settings and cached content are stored locally on your device.
  • Sharing: We share app data only with Google (Sign-In, AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Play Billing) and our own backend (Google Apps Script / Sheets) that stores synced progress and feedback, keyed by your email. We do not sell your data.
  • App data deletion: Request deletion of your account and synced data any time by emailing [email protected] (removed within 30 days). Uninstalling the app removes all on-device data.

11. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a new date.
