Role Overview – Cyber Security Analyst L1

As a Cyber Security Analyst L1 at Wipro Bengaluru, you will be part of the Managed Security Services team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents for Wipro’s enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring: Monitor security dashboards and SIEM tools to identify potential threats, anomalous behaviour, and security incidents across client environments, escalating issues as per defined SOC procedures.
• Endpoint Security Management: Work with Trend Micro Deep Security and other endpoint protection tools to manage policies, investigate alerts, and ensure endpoint compliance across client infrastructure.
• Incident Response Support: Assist in the initial triage and investigation of security incidents, collecting evidence, documenting findings, and supporting senior analysts in resolution and root cause analysis.
• Vulnerability Tracking: Track and report on open vulnerabilities across client systems, coordinating with patching teams to ensure timely remediation within agreed SLA windows.
• Security Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security operations reports for clients and internal management, summarising key metrics, incidents, and trends in a clear and professional format.
• Tool Administration: Assist in the administration and configuration of security tools, ensuring that agents are deployed, policies are up to date, and health checks are conducted regularly.
• Knowledge Building: Continuously update knowledge on emerging threats, CVEs, and cybersecurity best practices, contributing to the team’s threat intelligence library and staying current with vendor updates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025, or 2026 passing out graduates
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA in graduation
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Trend Micro Deep Security, endpoint protection tools, basic networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs), and fundamentals of information security (CIA triad, common attack vectors)
