Quest Global Off Campus Drive 2026 is hiring an Automation Engineer in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala under Job ID P-122725. The role is test automation — building frameworks and automated test cases for web, API, mobile and desktop applications, and wiring them into CI/CD. Note one thing before applying: Quest Global publishes no years-of-experience band, and a Bachelor’s degree is listed only as a preferred qualification.
Quest Global has not stated a years-of-experience range anywhere on this requisition, and the only degree line appears under Preferred Qualifications rather than requirements. The skills list is broad — multiple languages, multiple automation tools, CI/CD, API testing. That does not lock freshers out, but it does mean you will likely be screened against candidates who already have hands-on automation work. Apply if you have built something real with Selenium, Playwright or Pytest; be realistic if you have not.
Job Summary
What the Quest Global Off Campus Drive 2026 role involves
Quest Global is a 25-year-old engineering services provider with 23,000+ employees across 20 countries. The Automation Engineer role is about reducing manual effort across testing and business processes — you would work with development, testing and operations teams to make delivery faster and more reliable.
- Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for testing and business processes
- Create and execute automated test cases for web, API, mobile and desktop applications
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Analyse requirements and identify opportunities for automation
- Monitor automation execution results and troubleshoot failures
- Perform regression, functional, integration and end-to-end testing
- Develop reusable components and best practices for automation
- Generate test reports, metrics and quality dashboards
- Support production releases and validate deployments
Most automation roles cover web, or web plus API. This one adds mobile and desktop. That breadth is genuinely useful early in a career because it stops you being typecast as a Selenium-only tester, but it also means the interview could go in several directions. Be ready to say which of the four you are strongest in rather than claiming all of them.
Quest Global Off Campus Drive 2026 skills required
- Strong programming or scripting in Python, Java, C#, JavaScript or PowerShell
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT or Robot Framework
- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman and Rest Assured
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
- Familiarity with version control such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud; knowledge of performance and security testing; and relevant certifications in testing, automation or cloud.
Quest Global names “relevant certifications in testing, automation, or cloud technologies” as a preferred qualification. ISTQB Foundation, a cloud associate certificate, or a Playwright or Selenium course completion are all realistic to obtain and will differentiate a thin CV in a listing that otherwise rewards experience.
Who should apply to the Quest Global Off Campus Drive 2026
Apply if you are in or near Kerala with real automation project work behind you. Thiruvananthapuram has a smaller tech job market than Bangalore or Chennai, which cuts both ways — fewer openings, but also fewer applicants per opening than a metro posting would attract.
Since no experience band is published for the Quest Global Off Campus Drive 2026, ask the recruiter directly what level the requisition is pitched at before you invest in multiple interview rounds. That one question saves a lot of wasted preparation.
