Role Overview – Machine Learning Scientist I
As a Machine Learning Scientist I, you will join the Applied Machine Learning Team in India, developing ML and computer vision algorithms to monitor and assess the state of drivers and their environments. You will contribute to all aspects of the DL / ML model development and deployment cycle – improving accuracy and throughput at reduced latency – to help enhance and differentiate Lytx as the leader in the Video Safety and Telematics industry.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Model Development: Develop ML / DL models end-to-end – problem formulation, data engineering, prototyping, training, evaluation, and iteration.
- Deep Learning Implementation: Implement, debug, and improve DL models using frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Model Optimization & Deployment: Optimize and deploy models on cloud and edge platforms for production-grade performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement of models using large-scale field data collected from millions of drivers.
- GenAI Solutions: Leverage GenAI tools and LLM APIs (e.g., Claude) to build solutions for internal and customer-facing use cases.
- Prompt Engineering & RAG: Build and iterate on prompt engineering workflows, RAG pipelines, and LLM-powered applications along with AI agents for task / workflow automation.
- Technical Communication: Communicate findings and technical trade-offs clearly to internal teams and stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ECE, or a related field.
- Batch Year: 2024, 2025 or 2026 graduates can apply.
- Experience: 0–2 years (including internships or academic work) in Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
