Role Overview – Site Reliability Engineer Intern

As an SRE Intern at LeadSquared, you will help monitor availability and performance of the company’s 100% AWS-hosted SaaS production environment. The role combines proactive observability, capacity planning, and incident management to ensure reliability and efficiency of cloud infrastructure and services. You will work alongside experienced DevOps and InfoSec engineers and gain practical exposure to AWS services, monitoring stacks, and production-grade alerting workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Monitoring: Monitor availability and performance of SaaS infrastructure hosted on AWS and drive capacity planning and reliability improvements.
• Incident Management: Own end-to-end incident management including emergency response, timely mitigation, root cause analysis, and preventive action documentation.
• Observability: Build and contribute to platforms and processes for full observability and automated incident response across systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, InfoSec, and Engineering teams to improve performance, reliability, and operability of services.
• Performance Analysis: Gather and analyse performance metrics from OS and application layers to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
