Key Responsibilities For GKN Automotive Off Campus Drive
- Read & understand GKN standards, drawings, process sheets and customer requirements.
- Prepare documents & formats required for process quality assurance, quality gate, safe launch & concern resolution and support preparation of documents & formats for production processes, to meet the requirements of standards & customers.
- Audit the documents like PFD, PFMEA, CP, work instructions, SOP’s, check lists, formats and get it corrected to meet the requirements specified in standards.
- Conduct audits as per process and product audit plans, Pokayoke audit plans, OJT audit plans & customer requirements and for verification of causes & actions of concerns (customer line/warranty/internal).
- Communicate audit findings & ensure closure of gaps against the standards and process control plans, through regular meetings & follow up audits.
- Monitor trends in products & process parameters, communicate & report changes in trends by conducting regular meetings and ensure control by correcting the processes.
- Timely Collection of non-conforming parts & it’s information from production lines and organize disposition as per process and timely communication to plant at all levels.
- Drive timely root cause analysis and corrective action implementation through execution of problem solving tools like QIP, A3 etc.
- Coaching & Mentoring CFT members on problem solving tools like QIP, A3 etc., Drives improvement of PFMEA & uses PFMEA in problem solving to prevent re-occurrence, Quarantine the in-house & incoming non-conforming & suspect material.
- Prepare professional, logical, structured & systematic investigation reports for internal & external concerns.
