About the Eaton Associate Engineer 2026 role

The Eaton Associate Engineer 2026 drive is open for Eaton’s Brightlayer Cloud team, which is building an Internet of Things (IoT) platform from the ground up. Although Eaton is an established power-management company, this project has the energy of a start-up initiative – the platform will be used by Eaton product teams as a framework to build customer-facing applications.

As an Associate Software Engineer (Job Req 67656) based in Hadapsar, Pune on a hybrid model, you will work on IoT, NoSQL, big data, DevOps, microservices, mobile and cybersecurity technologies alongside an enthusiastic engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture, design and implementation of an Internet of Things platform, primarily in C# and Python
• Author high-quality, unit-tested code and document solutions using flowcharts, diagrams and code comments
• Provide work estimates and participate in design, implementation and code reviews
• Execute agile work plans for iterative and incremental project delivery
• Work with test teams to ensure adequate test coverage; investigate and fix bugs; create automated test scripts

Requirements & eligibility

• BE/B.Tech with 0–2 years of progressive experience in software development and deployment
• Proficient with C# and .NET technologies and IDEs such as Visual Studio
• Understanding of relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Cosmos, MongoDB)
• Understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures and multithreading concepts
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and networking protocols (HTTP, TCP, WebSocket)
• Strong problem-solving, debugging and communication skills
