Wipro Elite NTH 2026: Exam Pattern, Process & Preparation Guide

Wipro’s Elite National Talent Hunt (NTH) is its flagship fresher hiring programme, with recent packages from roughly ₹3.5 LPA (Elite) to ₹6.5 LPA (Turbo). This guide covers the 2026 selection process end to end — test pattern, coding expectations, the written communication round most candidates underestimate, and interview preparation.

Elite vs Turbo

Track Typical CTC Bar
Elite (NTH) ~₹3.5 LPA Aptitude + essay + basic coding
Turbo ~₹6.5 LPA Advanced coding round performance

Strong performance in the Elite assessment can earn a Turbo upgrade round invite in many cycles. See monthly take-home for each with the in-hand salary calculator.

Round 1 — Online assessment

Three parts in a single sitting. Aptitude: quantitative (percentages, ratios, time & work, interest, DI), logical reasoning (series, arrangements, coding-decoding, syllogisms) and verbal (RC, error spotting, vocabulary). Written Communication Test: a short essay (~200–250 words) on a given topic within ~20 minutes — graded on structure, grammar and coherence; this genuinely eliminates candidates who skip practising it. Online coding: typically two problems in C, C++, Java or Python — array/string logic, patterns, sorting-based problems, simple recursion.

Write two practice essays this week, and drill the aptitude sections with timed NTH-style practice tests.

Round 2 — Technical interview

Wipro freshers report a project-first pattern: expect a deep walkthrough of your final-year project, then language fundamentals (whichever you claim — C pointers, Java OOPs, Python data structures), basic DBMS/SQL, and occasionally a small live coding exercise. The reported question pool is highly repetitive — revise the real Wipro interview questions from recent candidates before your slot.

Round 3 — HR interview

Introduction, relocation and shift willingness, the service agreement (Wipro has used training bonds/service commitments in past cycles — read your letter), strengths/weaknesses with examples, and “why Wipro”. Keep a short story ready for each claim on your resume. The HR bank inside our Interview Question Bank covers the frequent ones.

Eligibility snapshot

Typically 60% in 10th/12th and graduation, no active backlogs at onboarding, full-time degree, and a gap policy (commonly up to 3 years total, cycle-dependent). Each drive posting states exact criteria — current Wipro and similar drives are tracked on the live off-campus drives page.

Preparation timeline (3 weeks)

Week 1: aptitude foundations daily + one essay. Week 2: coding — two problems daily in your chosen language + SQL basics; second essay. Week 3: alternate-day full mocks, project story rehearsal, and the Wipro question bank for interview rounds. FAQs

How important is the essay round really?

Very. Candidates with perfect aptitude scores get rejected on incoherent essays. Practise the 20-minute format at least twice.

Which coding language is best for NTH?

Any of C/C++/Java/Python. Choose the one you can debug fastest under pressure.

Does Wipro have a bond?

Wipro has used service agreements/training commitments for freshers in past cycles; confirm terms in your offer letter.

Can I upgrade from Elite to Turbo?

In many cycles, high scorers get invited to an additional coding round for the Turbo package. It’s automatic based on performance — you can’t apply for it separately.
