Role Overview – AI/ML Engineer Intern

As an AI/ML Engineer Intern at Teal India, you will work directly on the core intelligence layer of the company’s products — building models that extract structured data from unstructured legal documents, designing search pipelines that surface property information with high accuracy, and deploying NLP systems for entity extraction, signature detection, and document classification. Key Responsibilities

• NLP/ML Model Development: Develop and train NLP and ML models for entity resolution, text normalization, and document understanding — enabling accurate extraction of information from property and legal documents.
• Document Extraction Systems: Build and optimize document extraction pipelines using OCR tools and transformer-based NLP models such as BERT to parse PDFs and scanned legal files.
• Search Pipeline Design: Design and optimize end-to-end search systems using hybrid multi-step retrieval and reranking methods that surface relevant property information with high precision.
• Data Cleaning & Normalization: Clean, normalize, and structure large volumes of heterogeneous property data to enable search and analytics at scale across Teal India’s platform.

Eligibility Criteria
