Responsibilities:

• To be successful as an intern, you should be willing to help with any tasks assigned by the supervisor / manager. You will be involved in upcoming projects as well as assisting with current design engineering challenges.
• This position plays a very important role in supporting the Sourcing Engineering team in controlling the manufacturing spend and also explore better design options without compromise to part / product form, fit and function.
• As part of Sourcing engineering team, the intern also has opportunity to learn costing techniques of tools & may participate with procurement / R&D functions in meetings. It can also be an extended responsibility to identify VAVE cost reduction opportunities by studying the part & tool design.
• The job may involve interacting with various cross functional teams like ID, R&D, partner management, program managers, suppliers, etc. to understand the requirements correctly & deliver what customer wants with quick turnaround time & with reliable data and quality.
• This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office
