Job Summary
About BNP Paribas PRISM 2026
BNP Paribas India Solutions has opened PRISM 2026, an internship programme running across its Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru delivery centres. ISPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas SA, the European Union’s leading bank, and operates as a 24×7 global delivery centre servicing Corporate and Institutional Banking, Investment Solutions and Retail Banking for the group. It employs over 10,000 people.
What sets BNP Paribas PRISM 2026 apart from almost every other internship we cover is the spread. Five separate functions are hiring, which means a B.Com graduate, a BTech graduate and an HR aspirant can all apply to the same programme.
The five streams in BNP Paribas PRISM 2026
Pick the stream that matches your degree – each has its own scope and requirements:
- 1. Information Technology – open to IT graduates (B.E./B.Tech or MCA).
- 2. Operations – front-office trade lifecycle support across derivatives and securities.
- 3. Finance – accounting and treasury; degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, CA a plus.
- 4. Human Resources – employee lifecycle, HR operations and analytics.
- 5. Administration & Facility Management (AFMG) – facilities, events and workplace operations.
BNP Paribas PRISM 2026 Stream 1 – Information Technology
For B.E./B.Tech and MCA graduates:
- Work on application development, production support or testing using Java, C/C++, .NET or related technologies.
- Coding, debugging and documenting applications.
- Supporting live applications and collaborating with business teams to meet SLAs.
- Work in a shift-based environment.
- Required: analytical mindset, good communication, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure.
Stream 2 – Operations
For candidates interested in capital markets operations:
- Support the front-office trade lifecycle – trade allocation, confirmation, settlement, reconciliations and corporate actions across derivatives and securities.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to trade anomalies.
- Contribute to process-improvement projects and ensure STP efficiency and risk controls.
- Required: strong analytical ability, basic knowledge of financial instruments, good stakeholder management.
BNP Paribas PRISM 2026 Stream 3 – Finance (Accounting & Treasury)
For commerce and finance graduates – this is the stream most fresher job sites never surface:
- Journal-entry posting, ledger reconciliations and month, quarter and year-end close.
- Cash-position monitoring and basic IFRS / Indian GAAP reporting.
- Contribute to automation initiatives using RPA and Excel macros.
- Support finance-transformation projects such as ERP upgrades.
- Required: degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (CA qualification a plus), advanced Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP FI/CO or Oracle.
Streams 4 and 5 – Human Resources and Facilities
Two non-technical routes into a global bank:
- HR – Lifecycle: manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including strategic sourcing, onboarding, performance management and offboarding.
- HR – Operations: drive HR administrative workflows, maintain data integrity through analytics, keep policies compliant with legal and corporate standards.
- HR – Organisational support: partner with stakeholders on workplace culture, resolve grievances and run engagement and retention initiatives.
- AFMG: assist with facility and cafeteria operations, event logistics, visitor management and preventive-maintenance scheduling.
- AFMG: ensure compliance with health, safety and fire-safety standards; requires coordination, teamwork and a service mindset.
Selection process for BNP Paribas PRISM 2026
Expect a stream-specific process, typically two to three rounds:
- An initial screening on your degree, stream preference and why banking.
- A technical or functional round – coding and DSA for IT; financial instruments and trade lifecycle for Operations; accounting fundamentals and Excel for Finance; situational questions for HR and AFMG.
- An HR discussion on location preference across Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru, plus shift flexibility for IT and Operations.
- Offers usually follow within two to four weeks of the final round.
Documents required
Keep these ready before you apply:
- Updated resume – build one free with the Resume Builder.
- All semester marksheets and your degree or provisional certificate.
- Class X and XII marksheets.
- CA foundation or intermediate certificates if applying to the Finance stream.
- Government photo ID and a passport-size photograph.
Preparation tips
Three moves, whichever stream you pick:
- Name your stream clearly in the application. A generic “any role” application to a five-stream programme reads as unfocused.
- Learn the basics of banking operations – what settlement, reconciliation and STP mean. Even IT applicants get asked, and almost no fresher prepares it.
- Run two timed mock rounds with the free aptitude practice tests, and rehearse a 90-second self-introduction that connects your degree to your chosen stream.
