- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design and bring products and services to market.
- Design and build technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
- Create solutions that run predictions on distributed systems at scale and speed.

- Design and code the right solution starting from a broadly defined problem.

Basic qualifications
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals — object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis.
- Knowledge of a programming language such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field at the time of application, with a year of graduation of 2027.
Preferred qualifications
- A previous technical internship.
- Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms and relational databases.
- Experience in optimisation mathematics such as linear programming and nonlinear optimisation.
- Ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions effectively.
- Comfort with ambiguous or undefined problems, and the ability to think abstractly.
Note what is not there in the Amazon Internship 2027 requirements: no CGPA cut-off and no branch restriction beyond CS, Computer Engineering or a related field. The Amazon Internship 2027 screens on fundamentals rather than on marks.
How to prepare
- Data structures and algorithms to interview depth. Amazon’s loop is famously DSA-heavy. Arrays, strings, trees, graphs, dynamic programming — and be able to state complexity for everything you write.
