Job Description:

As a cybersecurity analyst intern you will support the Airbus Corporate Cybersecurity team in

protecting the organization’s infrastructure, networks, data from cyber threats and also supporting various cybersecurity functions, including vulnerability management, vulnerability intelligence, risk management, scanning, and managing cybersecurity-related data. You will have the opportunity to build hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry while working alongside professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vulnerability Management Support: Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and assets by conducting regular security scans, analysing scan results, documenting findings and tracking remediation efforts.
• Vulnerability Intelligence: Gather, analyze, and interpret vulnerability data from sources like CVE databases and threat feeds, while supporting the creation of intelligence reports to inform stakeholders about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Risk Management: Support risk assessments by analyzing vulnerabilities and security threats, track risk metrics, and help develop and update strategies for mitigating and managing cybersecurity risks across the organization.
• Data Management & Reporting: Support in collecting and analyzing cybersecurity data to identify risks, develop reporting dashboards, and document security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring accurate records for internal and external reporting.
• General Cybersecurity Support: Assist with ad-hoc cybersecurity tasks, participate in team meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are effectively executed.
