Role Overview – Graduate Engineering Trainee

As a Graduate Engineering Trainee in Manufacturing & Logistics at GE HealthCare Bengaluru, you will work alongside senior engineers on medical-device assembly lines, supply-chain processes, and continuous-improvement projects. The programme offers structured rotations across production engineering, supplier quality, and logistics operations to build strong manufacturing fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Support: Support assembly-line operations for medical-device sub-systems and report on daily production metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Run Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma projects to improve cycle time, yield, and operator efficiency.
  • Process Documentation: Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, control plans, and PFMEA documents.
  • Supplier & Material Coordination: Collaborate with supplier quality and logistics teams to ensure on-time material availability and quality compliance.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Lead 5-Why and Fishbone analyses for production issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
