Role Overview – Jr. Data ETL Testers Associate
As a CGI Quality Engineer in the Big Data/ETL Testing space, you will take ownership of testing deliverables across Data Warehouse (DWH), Big Data, and ETL projects that are critical to client data pipelines. Key Responsibilities
- Test Delivery: Deliver comprehensive test artifacts for assigned projects and modules from inception through deployment, covering unit, integration, and regression testing phases.
- Big Data and ETL Validation: Execute and validate Big Data/DWH/ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability across complex data transformation pipelines.
- Test Suite Development: Create and maintain automated test suites for new and existing features, enabling end-to-end data validation across structured and semi-structured data sources.
- SQL Query Execution: Write and validate medium to complex SQL queries including joins, window functions, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) for data transformation and validation checks.
