Role Overview – Trainee (Technology)

As a Technology Trainee at HERE Technologies, you will be placed in a one-year contract role working on HERE’s map data processing, quality assurance, AI/ML data annotation, or platform operations — depending on your assigned team. The role is designed to give freshers a meaningful introduction to working with large-scale geospatial datasets, data pipelines, and technology tools in a professional enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities

• Data Processing & Analysis: Work with large geospatial or structured datasets, running data quality checks, applying transformation logic, and flagging anomalies using defined workflows and tools.
• Map Content Operations: Assist in maintaining and enriching HERE’s map database by processing updates related to roads, addresses, points of interest, and traffic data from multiple source inputs.
• AI/ML Data Support: Support machine learning data pipelines by performing data annotation, labelling, and validation tasks that feed HERE’s AI-powered map intelligence systems.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct systematic quality checks on processed data and identify issues that require correction, maintaining the high accuracy standards HERE’s customers depend on.
• Tool & Script Usage: Use internal HERE tools as well as standard scripting (Python or SQL) to automate repetitive data tasks and generate reports on data processing metrics.
• Team Coordination: Work within a structured team environment, coordinating with team leads and colleagues on daily deliverables, production targets, and any blockers that arise during data operations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear records of tasks performed, issues encountered, and resolutions applied, contributing to process documentation that supports team scalability.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related science/technology discipline
• Batch Year: 2024, 2025, or 2026 passing out graduates
• Academic Performance: Minimum 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in graduation
