Role Overview – Software Engineer Intern

As a Software Engineer Intern at Aura Cloud, you will work directly alongside experienced engineers on live product development, getting hands-on exposure to how enterprise SaaS applications are designed, built, and maintained. This is not a sideline project internship — you will be writing production-ready code, participating in sprint cycles, and contributing to meaningful features that customers use every day. Key Responsibilities

• Feature Development: Build and enhance features for Aura Cloud’s core SaaS products, working on both frontend and backend components as required by the sprint backlog.
• Code Reviews & Quality: Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality, learn from senior engineers, and improve your own coding practices in a collaborative environment.
• Bug Fixing & Debugging: Identify, analyse, and fix bugs reported by QA or customers, writing clear bug reports and implementing clean, tested fixes.
• Database Operations: Work with relational databases to write queries, design schemas, and ensure data integrity across product modules.
• API Integration: Assist in designing and consuming REST APIs, supporting integrations between Aura Cloud’s platform and third-party services.
• Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for the features you develop, ensuring that your work is easy to understand, maintain, and extend by the wider team.
• Agile Participation: Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing ideas and tracking your own deliverables within the team’s agile workflow.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
