Role Overview – Associate Software Engineer (HPEL Program)

The HPEL (High Potential Engineering Leaders) Program is Smartsheet’s flagship initiative for fresh engineering talent entering FY2027. As an Associate Software Engineer, you will work across the stack — with a primary focus on Full Stack and Back-End development — learning how large-scale, distributed systems are architected, tested, and shipped. Key Responsibilities

• Learn & Contribute Across the Full Development Lifecycle: Participate in every stage of software development — from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
